Documenting Music and Culture in St. Louis Since 2005

PAST Lo-Fi Cherokee VIDEOS

  • LO-FI SAINT LOUIS is a video series documenting the music scene in St. Louis. Founded in 2005 as an experiment in publishing regular video content online we have evolved and adapted over the years. We feature live recordings of bands in unusual venues. Every April we produce Lo-Fi Cherokee an event that combines filmmaking and music which has become an institution on the street for which it’s named. These videos are archived on this website, as well as our YouTube channel, creating a unique record of a specific time and place in St. Louis's music scene.

  • Lo-Fi Cherokee is an annual event that brings together music, video, and the audience in a dynamic and unforgettable way. Each year, we shoot multiple music videos on Cherokee Street in a single day, capturing the energy and diversity of the local music scene. This event was born as an experiment in 2012, but its popularity has led us to continue it year after year. Don't miss out on this exciting and one-of-a-kind event – join us for Lo-Fi Cherokee and discover the best of St. Louis's music and video scene.
